Amelia McGaugh, BMT, Music Therapist (she/her) is a music therapist who is passionate about providing positive musical interventions for individuals with various abilities. Completing her undergraduate studies at Wilfrid Laurier University, Amelia has gained a wide range of professional, musical, and interpersonal skills and is excited and prepared to use these skills in the Find Your Voice Music Therapy organization serving the Katarokwi/ Kingston, ON area location.
Amelia has been playing music and singing for as long as she can remember, and her passion for music and psychology only grow stronger as she continues to dive into the beautiful evidence-based practice profession of Music Therapy. Amelia is overjoyed to at Find Your Voice Music Therapy as the organization is filled to the brim with supportive, hard-working, and dedicated individuals who strive to make music therapy accessible to all.
Amelia is currently enrolled in a Masters of Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. At the end of this degree, she plans to join the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) as a Registered Psychotherapist (RP). This will allow her to provide deeper exploration and broader services to the Kingston, ON community.
