Sonja Moller

Sonja Moller, (she/her/hers) is an aspiring music therapist, working with Find Your Voice Music Therapy, and is excited to work with a variety of populations. She has experience working with teenagers and younger youth on the Autism Spectrum, young adults with Down Syndrome, youth with special needs, and seniors. She is particularly interested in pursuing a career working with individuals in palliative care, and has a passion for working with families. Sonja’s main instrument is violin, which she has played for sixteen years, receiving both classical and fiddle training. In addition to violin, she also sings, and plays guitar and piano. She particularly enjoys the work of Canada’s Stan Rogers, and looks to Canadian music for inspiration in her practice. In her work as a music therapist in-training, Sonja aims to provide music that is meaningful to her clients, and works to create a space where they feel valued and are heard.
