“This program has been such a fantastic opportunity for our residents. We’ve been able to celebrate Canada’s 150th through avenues our residents connect strongly with. Music and dance are such favourite pastimes for our residents and so it is a perfect fit,” said Katie Johnson, Recreationist at Fairmount Home and coordinator of the program.
?
The sessions were facilitated by Mackenzie Costron – Accredited Music Therapist and Registered Counselling Therapist Find Your Voice Music Therapy, Jackie Mills – founder of Sit N’ Dance, Seated Dance Program and Eric Eric Voice – First Nations Performer.”
